Welcome to Riverside Reformer; we’re so glad you’ve chosen to join our community.
To keep things clear and fair for everyone, these Terms and Conditions govern your participation in classes, memberships and services provided by Riverside Reformer (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By purchasing a membership, class package or attending a class you agree to the following:
Classes & Services
Classes are available at scheduled times.
Class schedules, instructors and offerings are subject to change without prior notice. Clients are advised to arrive 10 minutes before the class starts, late arrivals will not be permitted to join the class once it has begun. This is both for the safety of the client and to avoid disrupting the experience of others.
Memberships & Class Packages
Memberships are sold on an auto-renew basis unless otherwise stated.
By purchasing a membership, you authorise the studio to charge the payment method provided on a recurring basis, in accordance with the selected membership plan.
Memberships and class packages are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Memberships are valid for the duration specified at the time of purchase (e.g., 1 month, 3 months, etc.).
Classes purchased as part of a package/bundle must be used within the time specified:
5 Classes – 2 months
10 Classes – 3 months
15 Classes – 4 months
Any unused sessions within the period will expire. Unused credits will not roll over and will expire at the end of the month/validity period.
Bring a Friend Once a Month Offer eligibility: This offer is available exclusively to active members of Riverside Reformer with a Membership. The member must accompany their guest for the entire duration of the studio visit and is responsible for the guest’s conduct. The guest must be a new client and cannot have previously attended classes at Riverside Reformer. The guest must be at least 18 years old. This offer provides the member with one free guest pass per calendar month. This pass allows one new guest to attend a single class with the member. Unused passes do not roll over and will expire at the end of each calendar month.Booking: The guest must book in advance and all bookings are subject to availability. Frequency: A specific guest can only use this offer once.The guest pass is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other services. Riverside Reformer reserves the right to vary, suspend, or withdraw this offer at any time, in whole or in part, with or without prior notice. Members will be advised of such changes.
Class Cancellation Policy
All classes must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the loss of the session/credits.
Monetary refunds will not be given for cancelled or rescheduled classes in any case. A £15 charge will be applied for every three (3) late cancellations and/or no-shows accrued within the applicable period.
In the event that we need to cancel or reschedule a class, you will be notified as soon as possible and given the option to transfer your session to another available class.
Suspension & Cancellation of Memberships
All memberships have a minimum term of 2 months and then will go on to automatically renew monthly until notice is given in writing to cancel. A minimum of fourteen (14) days’ written notice is required to cancel a membership. Please notify us via email at: hello@riversidereformer.co.uk Upon receipt of notice, the membership will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle, after which it will terminate.
We reserve the right to terminate memberships for misconduct, violation of studio rules, or non-payment.
Health & Safety
Clients must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations before participating and must complete a Health Declaration before attending their first class. Participation is at your own risk. By attending classes, you acknowledge that Pilates involves physical activity and accept responsibility for your own health and well-being.
If you have any concerns about your physical health or condition, please consult your doctor before participating in any classes.
While we take all necessary steps to ensure the safety of our clients, participation in any Pilates classes and attending the studio is at your own risk. Riverside Reformer will not be liable for any injury, illness, or loss suffered whilst at the studio or partaking in any classes, whether on the premises or in connection with any online sessions.
Studio Etiquette
Please wear appropriate clothing for exercise and grip socks for reformer classes.
All equipment must be used as instructed and wiped down after the class
We will ensure that cleanliness standards are maintained at all times but ask that any areas of concern are brought to our attention straight away.
Liability
By attending classes or entering the studio, you release Riverside Reformer, it’s staff and instructors from any liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property, except where required by law.
Riverside Reformer is not responsible for the loss or damage to any personal items brought into the studio. We encourage you to leave valuables at home or in secure locations.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted here on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
